Carlisle's first team squad started their pre-season friendly programme at local rivals Workington this afternoon, and came away with a 3-1 win.
Carlisle opened the scoring in the second minute, Josh Gowling scoring from close ranger after Gary Madine got onto the end of a Harte Free kick and played the ball across the six yard box.
There were no more goals until the 79th minute when trialist Yan Klukowski turned in a Raven cross.
Workington made it 2-1 just a minute later with a goal from Henney, but Klukowski got his second goal two minutes from the end to make the final score Workington 1 Carlisle 3.
The Carlisle squad will now travel to the South East for a training camp in Essex, and will play their next friendly on Friday, at Margate.

We're still setting things up so there's not much here at the moment, but there will be more content added in the run up to the new season.
