Carlisle United got their first win of the League One season at Stockport tonight.
New signing Kevan Hurst went straight into the starting line-up, and he had an immediate impact, giving United the lead in the 13th minute. The lead lasted less than a minute, as Richard Keogh deflected a shot past Pidgeley for an unfortunate own goal.
Joe Anyinsah scored the winner midway through the second half.
